1) What we collect

  • Account info: parent/guardian name, email. Child can use a nickname.
  • Usage & device data: pages used, buttons clicked, time in app, browser/device type, IP (to keep things secure).
  • Content you provide: messages typed to professors/agents, quiz answers, progress.
  • Payments: handled by our payment processor (e.g., LemonSqueezy). We don't store full card data.

2) Why we use it

  • Run the app, save progress, provide hints, keep the service safe.
  • Understand what features work and improve them.
  • Meet legal requirements (e.g., safety, fraud prevention).

3) Kids' privacy

  • The app is for kids with a parent/guardian involved.
  • For children under 13, we collect only what's needed to run the app and ask the parent/guardian to create/manage the account.
  • Parents can review or delete their child's data: email us at flipuacademy@gmail.com.

4) Sharing data

  • Service providers (hosting, analytics, payment). They must protect the data and use it only for our service.
  • Legal or safety reasons if required by law or to prevent harm.
  • Business change (e.g., merger). We'll keep the same protections or tell you if they change.
  • We don't sell personal data and we don't show targeted ads to kids.

5) Cookies & local storage

  • Used for login, security, and remembering progress. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.

6) Retention

  • We keep information only as long as needed for the app and our legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
  • Parents can ask us to delete a child's account data.

7) Security

  • We use reasonable safeguards. No method is 100% secure.

8) Your choices & rights

  • Update or delete your account data by contacting us.
  • Depending on your region (e.g., EU/UK, California), you may have extra rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection. Contact us to use them.

9) International transfers

  • Data may be processed in other countries. We use protections allowed by law for these transfers.

10) Changes

  • We may update this Policy. We'll post the new date above. If changes are important, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
